Frequently asked questions

What types of companies qualify as Zipchat tech partners?

Shopify apps, WooCommerce plugins, e-commerce platforms, email marketing and SMS tools, review platforms, logistics and fulfillment software, and any adjacent SaaS product whose primary customers are online store owners. If your audience and Zipchat's overlap, the program is worth exploring.

Is there a revenue share or commission component?

The tech partner program is co-marketing first. If you actively refer clients who sign up for a paid Zipchat plan, you can receive a 15% recurring referral commission (same terms as the standard affiliate program). That is optional, not a requirement for tech partners.

How are co-marketing activities decided?

During the intro call after your application is accepted, both teams define which activities make sense given your audience size, content cadence, and overlap with Zipchat's audience. There is no fixed minimum commitment. Partnerships grow based on what generates real value for both sides.

Does the partner directory listing include SEO indexing?

Yes. Your listing page at zipchat.ai/partners/directory/[slug] is publicly indexed. It includes your company name, description, platform specialization, and a followed link to your website. The page also generates Organization schema markup so search engines and LLMs can identify your company as a Zipchat partner entity.

How long does the application and onboarding process take?

Applications are reviewed within 5 business days. After approval, the intro call is typically scheduled within one week. Most tech partner relationships publish their first piece of joint content within 30 days of the intro call.
